The Js aren't doing any voicing until the second box, apparently. I wish they weren't sorely overworked and could do them all.
When people bitch about OCs on ffrants and various other fandom spaces, I get all eyerolly. They can totally be done well, and interestingly, and fit into a narrative space.
However, for some reason, when people draw and talk about their OCs on deviantart, they seem uniformly 12 years old, doing major wish fulfillment. Is that really what OCs in fic look like to the complainers, and if so I'm really glad I've avoided those stories for the large part.
