Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

they do need another season as just brothers

I don't know if we're ever going to get that. We haven't so far. I don't know if it's more than the end game, at best.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I mean, there can still be shit and obstacles, but right now? Not brothers. Because one of them has been kinda absent so far.

Okay, sure, the series finale can finally be Sam and Dean on an even keel, whole and healthy as they're gonna get, hitting the road. But to end it with a year/season of Sam not being Sam and Sam coming to grips with what Dean did to him and possibly the wall coming down and somehow rebounding from that... That feels rushed.

They can have Sam get over what Dean did as quickly as they want, though. He doesn't have to hold it against him. It's entirely their call. It could be done with in a week. We will still have the wall, but that doesn't have to get in the way of being brothers.

Daggomus Prime did art for Nanoochka's When Play Turns Bitter. Hmmph. I just want the next chapter. Someone install a keylogger on her machine, stat.

Not as much as I want more Mafia Soup Kitchen, but I've decided to be less anxious about that.

Because books.

I love the way she does light, and her coloring.

I do blame you for getting me invested in the Mafia Soup Kitchen, though. Want more now, not anxiously, but impatiently.

I will cheerfully get everyone invested in the Mafia Soup Kitchen. It's one of my favourite D/C AUs period. I figure she's going to go a couple months between installments, so I'm making peace with that.

Nanoochka doesn't get a week. I need to know the final pairing. And reading the comments on her fic are interesting, because people are definitely picking sides and getting invested. And she's not always down with the side.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I will cheerfully get everyone invested in the Mafia Soup Kitchen.

Link?

Oh, wow, I did a bad job of my stated intent, didn't I?

I unsolicitedly did some art for that fic, and the author was really nice about it.

Does JDM usually do cons? He's signed on to do one in Spain. The only other confirmed guest seems to be Matt Cohen.

Get involved in SPN stuff, JDM! Stay close to the fold!
