Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In fic where they wax rhapsodic, I'm all "yeah, they're nice, I dig it."

But, oh god, those are gorgeous.

Because books.

The fanon thing is bugging me now. I can't think of much that hasn't been touched on by Show in one way or another.

Probably Sam/Brady. That's a good one.

Also, anything having to do with Dean as de facto mom -- we know he made meals and stuff, but I'm talking about sewing on buttons, signing Sam's permission slips, that sort of thing.

Oooh, I forgot. John and Ellen having resentful, scratch-an-itch sex from time to time.

Nobody challenged Crowley when he called Brady Sam's lover, so I think it's canon.

Or, you know, unexamined. Don't harsh my mellow.

I'll allow it.

The color of Misha's eyes is beautiful, but it's the shape, too. They're incredibly expressive.

I love drawing his face the most. It's such a pleasure.

Speaking of pleasures, two from my art friends list. Petite madame is doing a fic calendar for 2011. Every month she's doing an illo from a fanfic or another in wallpaper size. Needless to say, amazingly pretty. Includes J2.

Small comic strip by cafe de labeill. This one struck me just because of the expressiveness. Especially the last panel. Teen Dean and Cas.

Oh, I have a third. Daggomus Prime does spnroundtable. She's a pretty interesting artist.

I got the French in that strip almost right! I didn't forget *everything* I learned after ... god, twelve years of French.

Daggomus is fascinating. I love her work, and I really like what she says about likenesses. That makes a lot of sense to me.

I don't get what Mo's question was in her interview about Dean being an Alpha Winchester. He's clearly not senior hunter at all--there's family on both sides. It's a weird question. I mean, there might be an alpha hunter, but why would it be him? How could it be?

I've seen people say "See, it was foreshadowed with the first-born in the fairy episode!" but that makes no sense.

All I could make out was that she was talking "alpha" in a more general -- and earned -- way. But it still doesn't make a lot of sense. There are no Winchesters left but Sam and Dean, and I don't think you can actually lump them in with the Campbells after the last few episodes.

The first-born thing is interesting, but not as interesting (to me) as why he didn't burn up when he killed Zachariah and saw the angel light, or whatever.

Yes! I would love to know if he's touched by an angel (not like that!) or something.
