"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Baby's first boner

Is that a reference to the scene in the hallway where Meg kisses Castiel? I'd have to rewatch before I could comment with any kind of certainty myself, but I think I remember reading others who said that when he looked down it could have been a "what's that?" at his first boner, as you put it, or he could have been looking down because Meg just shoplifted his sword. Because right after that she stepped back holding it to use as a weapon against the hellhounds.

Either way I know that angels are capable of sexuality. There's biblical evidence for it, what with the nephilim and all. It just hits my personal squick meter, which is odd considering that I've worked my way around to reading and enjoying a lot of wincest. It's just not my personal beautiful cake. But, you know, go forth and be happy amidst the fanfic jungles.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's referring to the scene where Dean says Castiel has an erection. He gets a hardon from the porn, remember?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I don't read the fic, but I do love the vids!

Ack, yes, of course the porn. That whole scene was so... icky. For me anyway, and it didn't have anything to do with any Dean/Cas overtones. I'm just not a fan of broad comedy and it felt shoveled uncomfortably in there. To me. I know others found it amusing.

I thought it was both hysterical and interesting. We know Cas has it in him to become a sex god. So it's interesting to me to see a burgeoning sexuality in him, after the naivete of the den of iniquity visit. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they introduced a love/sex interest plotline for him before the season's out. Though I'm sure it would have to be a new character. They couldn't go there with Meg.

You know, if she were cool, she'd be how I envisioned gender-swapped Sam.

Because books.

I'm very intrigued by his line about wanting to be with Sam and Dean, and on earth, so much of the time. Wondering if that's a hint, actually.

I wonder if they could have him win the battle in Heaven, and then choose not to stay up there.

Or, perhaps, lose. Show would also go there.

Because books.

I think the former is more likely, simply because he already rebelled/sort of got kicked out. But either way would be interesting.

I'm still wondering what the Big Bad will wind up being. Purgatory is a place, not an entity, so that seems like an odd choice. And souls are important and valuable, and someone could use them for Bigtime!Evil, but who?

So many things I want tied up, or at least hinted at being tied up if there's a next season.

It does seem weird that we don't have an antagonist, but we do have a mystery. There's some issue with souls and Purgatory, but no person. It's probably not Raphael, it's not Balty, Death doesn't know the deal, Crowley's dead...are they really going to introduce a completely new character in the back half of the season?
