"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Right? And I only searched for Dean Castiel fanfic. Because I have really bad influences here. But I didn't get any reading done. That kind of spoiled the mood.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You need D/C fic, just ask here. Don't go out into the scary world.

I'm rereading scaramouche's It's Always The End Of The World Somewhere. God, I love that story.

Nanoochka updated, and I'm still feeling apprehensive. But, porn!

I heard the perfect Castiel song on NYE. It was sung from an angel POV about a de-winged angel with a mission no one understood. But google wouldn't help me with the title. I can't believe I failed.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Nanoochka updated

Ah, that fabled night that's been haunting the fic. Hot damn.

This update makes me think I know how the story's going to end, but really, that's how the story has to end. Not that it will.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I . . . haven't a clue. I still see so many possibilities, and that's without throwing in the wrench that could be Kurt finding out about the supernatural and Dean's past involvement with it.

But doesn't this update mean that Dean LOVES Cas and therefore they totally have to be together? No? I'm just making shit up to make me happy?

It's possible. I should just go back to fic that has already chuffed me, but is not schmoop. And stop being scared of this one. Because people like to hurt me.

I'm sorry ita, I'm so, so sorry.

My kneejerk from this chapter is that (and don't read this) Cas is Dean's epic an unattainable unrealistic true love, and while he loves Kurt, and may stay with him, he's settling, and will always be heartbroken that he and Cas could never truly be together.

Don't worry, my speculation gets worse: except the supernatural is still out there, and it comes into Dean and Kurt's lives, and Kurt either freaks and dumps Dean (which, Kurt is a cool cat, and probably would react amicably) or Kurt gets killed, and Cas is still absent, and Dean is ALL ALONE in the end.

I'm going to PM nanoochka right now and get her to say you're a big wrongy liar from untruthyland!

Althought it's probably wrong that part of me will be happy if Dean properly admits he loves Cas more than Kurt. Just part of me, though.

Oh, I hope Sam gets some more screentime.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm rereading scaramouche's It's Always The End Of The World Somewhere. God, I love that story.

Did you see that she posted a few pre-story timestamps?

I started out really into nanoochka's story, but a few too many Gary Stu checkboxes have been marked for the main original character since then (he's hot AND a talented musician AND very hip and witty AND has rich society friends AND is patient to a fault AND used to be a model AND no doubt will be described as smelling like strawberries in the next installment). At this point I'm hoping the connection with Sam's Stanford days means he's actually a demon that Lucifer didn't get around to blowing up during his vessel-courting process in Swan Song .

No! Dammit, I want post-story timestamps, but I'm hungry and will go look now.

Matt, you forgot that he's sexily multicultural. It's only partially why I'm rooting for the ending I'm rooting for.
