Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What?? You made me go back on comment on their spiteful ass.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Jesus, the quality of acting in the show is absolutely first rate. (Well some exceptions, but not leads.)

Because books.

I didn't comment because I couldn't think of anything to say that wasn't irrational ranting and outrage. I mean, say what you will about almost anything else, but Jensen is a fantastic actor.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

You didn't asteriskize or tilde Dead in the Water?

For the record, Dead in the Water is the episode that made me skip the rest of Season 1 and all of Season 2 up until Croatoan. I figured if the new show couldn't wow me with Amy Acker guesting, it wasn't worth my time.

I figure if the person is insulting the personality of the actor, then they're probably an internet hater, and not worth my time...yet...I'm that person, so I left a snide comment.

Still, I did get another hater to stop hating on a show that isn't out yet, and someone else to stop hating on the anime proactively, so as a thing, it's not all fruitless.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Link, Amy? I'm not a regular there, but I want to see ita's takedown.

Matt, I don't do horror, at all, ever, so I bailed on Woman in White. It was Dean connecting with Lucas in DitW that made me give the new "horror" show a chance. I thought the plot was, well, preposterous. But I liked the connection-after-estrangement factor of the brothers, and the contrasts in their personalities.

Sumi, I totally got credit at IO9 for linking to the anime trailer--thanks for that.

Beverly, I didn't say much. It was an old post, and they'll probably never respond. I just snapped at him for a personal jibe, and then said that Dean is many things, douchebag included. Which, he barely is. But it was my segue into the GREAT things Dean is.

Question: Sam's non-con resouling--how much of a violation was it? Does RoboSam get rights? Or does SoulMan Sam trump all?

Amy - Dec 21, 2010 1:44:50 pm PST #16691 of 30002
Because books.

I just snapped at him for a personal jibe

Was he talking about DEAN? Because I thought he was talking about Jensen Ackles, Douchey Fratboy.

Does RoboSam get rights? Or does SoulMan Sam trump all?

Without his soul, he doesn't have the same moral *or* emotional compass, so I don't think he can make an informed decision about whether he wants it or not. Meaning, I don't think he gets much say.

Also? Having a soul (i.e. moral compass, sense of ethics) doesn't mean you have to use it. And if the wall holds, one hopes the memories of hell won't haunt him. Otherwise, he's got the memories of his own life and actions, just like everyone else.
