Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I want more cowboy AU's! Even if they're gen!

Heh. For me, that would be especially if they're gen (I do adore Westerns). I don't always mind the slash, but 75% of the time, I'll skim anything steamy, especially if it seems tacked on to a story that's otherwise gen-ish. That preference may be why I'm largely on the fringes of fandom.

I want pictures of the boys as cowboys

Very much so, yes.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I've discovered that I need gen sprinkled amongst my slash consumption. A) because there's only so much bad fic I can handle mangling the pairing at a stretch and B) even with good fic, it starts to become old hat. I've actually found myself deciding to go do something else just as I see the characters revving up for the nasty. Like, storystorystory grinding HALT.

So I really need some more good gen recs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I could have big bang length stories always, I wouldn't need gen. Because then I could have relationship angst, porn, and casefic. But it's not big bang season, and I have to choose. I hate choosing. And I find it hard to find gen writers that write the Dean and Cas interaction I still like. Unoshot does it, for one.

Dude, it's motherfucking ridiculous. Don't click if you don't like cute, chibis, or D/C. Because it's kind of (very) all three.

Because books.

Oh my god, there are band-aids and wriggly toes in socks.

::dies::

I want to turn the lights up so I can see the details of the toes and stuff better. t /irrational

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And a little heart on the band-aid. :snif:

I want to turn the lights up so I can see the details of the toes and stuff better.

Like Cass and I are rational about Mary shopping at Kohl's for her grandkids. There is no rational in fandom.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I saw that Kohl's ad FFing through a recorded show, recognized Mary, even with the short hair, and rewound to confirm. And was irrationally grumpy she was having a bright, happy time while her boys were slugging down Stop&Rob eggnog in a grungy motel.

I'm no more rational than any of you.

Just watched up through WIAWSNB with bon bon, and I'm all verklempt. Dean! Sam! And stopping right now, with two episodes left to go for the season was tough for me, but I really pushed her to go as far as we did--we did Houses Of The Holy all the way through. A very strong set of episodes. S2 rocks.

I really wanted to hug the hell out of Houses of the Holy. Boys! You're so...oh, S4 will hit you hard.

Yes, for two boys that had a hard life and thought they had seen so much, Sam and Dean were innocents in those early seasons. Oh boys, you are going to have your hearts broken in so many ways from there on out. I'll put the soup on if one of y'all can get some blankets.
