I just read a fic where Jared was a 20-year-old third-year law student at Stanford. Aren't law students like med students, in that they complete their four years of undergrad studies first before beginning their graduate work? There was no mention in the story of him having been a child prodigy, so I'm thinking that the author just had no clue what the hell she was talking about.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I think you're right Morgana.
I just saw a Kohl's commercial with Samantha(Mary). It took me seeing it two or three times before I recognized her. I kept thinking I knew her but didn't know from where. She cut her hair (it's super cute) and that took years off of her.
At Stanford, pretty sure. He'd have to be going to law school outside the US to achieve that (like some foreign med schools).
The second time I saw that commercial, I twigged to it immediately and now I actually don't flick past it. I stop and say hi to Mary with grandkids. What? I fictionalize commercials, yes. Mary is happy in them and I am sticking with it.
One might even have thought, "oh, I wish the boys could see how happy she is." Not that I had that thought. That would just be crazy. But some people might have thought that when they recognized her finally.
Just read a brief fic where Cas is the jock and Dean is the outsider/geek. Huh. Want more.
Was that the one where Dean can't dance? I thought the pacing of it was kind of weird, and I'd really like to see the interactions that bore out those positions, not just Dean thinking about it.
Yeah, and yeah, the fic needed more fleshing out to really get a feel for who these characters are. I'd just like to see Cas being the jock more in fic. Or, as said before (possibly by you) Dean not being the popular jock.
I'd like to see Sam be the popular jock, and Dean, maybe outcast stoner. That could totally work. And then he drops out and gets a GED instead. Which means he can totally date a teacher.
Ooh, me likes.
I was thinking that for AUs, I'm surprised that people haven't glommed onto Cas' healing abilities and cast him as a doctor or a nurse more often. Usually when they do it involves PWP.
