Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nanoochka's story is making me tense. I need to stop being such a doof.

Which story is this?

Crap, I just looked at that ONTD thread and I think I spoiled myself for something. Argh.

She's got a Dean/OMC, Dean/Cas WIP going, and I was all gung ho and with her, and now I'm screaming to myself because I'm not sure how it's going to end up. I really like everyone in it, but I have my preferences for the ending. It's driving me nuts: [link]

"Somebody Save Me" by Remy Zero came up on my iPod this morning, and it made me kinda sad that SPN doesn't have a song that's as inextricably it. "Carry On Wayward Son" is just not as inevitably linked.

I don't know that song. But you don't think "Renegade" and "Wayward Son" aren't definitive SPN songs, for most fans?

I think they're definitive, but they're not exclusive. If you know Smallville, you know that song, and it will never mean anything other than Smallville. If you don't know Smallville, chances are much slimmer that you do know the song.

"Carry On Wayward Son" will never mean anything other than boys to me, but that didn't come about until almost a season into the show, and most people who know the song have no idea.

So not as inextricable.

Ah. I don't know Smallville, except I've heard that Lana's parents are dead ! And I see what you mean about the others.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Huh. I finally got to a place where I could read the article in the scans. So I'm disclosing that I am spoiled for everything in the article now. I knew I would be and I'm fine with being spoiled.

Non Spoiler - Did one of us send the SASE to Misha's PO Box? I want to know if he sends anything back. Although the tv guide article did say it was a false promise.

Amy, I don't think all her parents are dead, FWIW. There was at least one extra.

False promise! Misha lied to his minions??? Never. I refuse to believe it.

An extra?! Well, isn't she special.

I meant to send a SASE (lined in plastic!) but I haven't yet.
