I don't like Psych as much as most fans (I'm in it for Gus, not Shawn), but if you haven't paid enough attention to SPN to notice how freakishly tall Sam is, I don't even want to know if you can nail a Shawn voice. Half the time he's as annoying as shit on the show. Why would I risk my time on this inattentive fic?

I've read both bad and good Psych crossovers. The good was hysterical, and the bad was character-bashy stupidity.

I checked the fic's comments. No one corrects her grievous error. I don't even...I guess it's rude, and everyone would rather hairpat or shut up.

It's D/C. I'm so in. It's a WIP, so you may want to wait a bit. It's too early to tell, but the take on Dean and Cas each seems to be different than the norm.

Is it the one with 700 word chapters? Because I just tried that, and the SpaG is atrocious. I'm going to have to take back the fanning stuff--she really needs to get a competent beta, and stat. And, yeah. I think that's a part of being a decent writer.

Also, at that rate, yeah, I'm gonna wait. That's not enough for me to read at one sitting. She's writing so much different stuff.

I feel there's been a slowing in D/C fic recently, or maybe I've just been spoilt. But Secret Angels is way way slow. When does the Santa exchange start?

dunno which one, I already closed the window. Gabe is a teacher and Dean is planning on dropping out. Cas is a mystery. Yeah, too many different fics at once coming out of one writer. Yet I am the bitch of WIPs.

Yeah, she really needs someone to go over that. She's got spelling errors in, like, the second sentence. And the grammar errors are legion.

I'll check back when it's closer to finished, I think. It's easier to ignore that mess if I'm reading bulk quickly. And chapters that short would drive me crazy unless she updated more than once daily. And then she'd be driving me crazy by updating more than once daily.

My current WIPs are, I think, a Dean Smith/Cas one by vivhasrifle, I think, and a Dean/OMC, Dean/Cas which is driving me nuts in the good way by nanoochka. I'm loving that story and need her to write faster. And a couple by rosaline_kells.

Only based on the previews for tonight, I am kinda nervous. I've got those pre-hiatus butterflies where I expect there to be some major pain tonight.

I'm just hoping there's some way they can stuff Sam's soul back in before hellatus. We can deal with the non-con anguish next year.

Oh, the Dean/OMC is brilliant, MUST HAVE NAO! And I'm refreshing rosaline's lj hoping the 2/3 changes to 3/3, althernately thrilled that she's got a short multi-chap story, and pissed that she's writing that and not Rebel Rebel.

I saw someone admit (anon, of course) to writing fic with Gordon AND SHE DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS BLACK.

I once saw an alleged SGA photomanip by someone who was apparently unaware that Major Lorne is played by a short caucasian actor. I don't know if she was confusing him with Lt. Ford, or if she just decided "well at least I got the gender right!" and called it a day.

I would like to get Sam's soul back tonight, but I think that is the season long arc because we got rid of the big bad with Crowley last week. Maybe we'll get into more of Heaven's war? Dunno, but I bet we get the soul back at the end of the season with Sam healing over the summer off camera.
