I was just wandering around on Amazon, and they're doing their traditional Thanksgiving Turkey-day "Supernatural" sale: season 1 for $17.99, season 2 for $18.99, season 3 for $18.99, season 4 for $17.99 and season 5 for $18.49.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Think of Sam and all his lovely muscles in a leash ... maybe with a little oil or sweat? (waits for the rush bunk-ward).
Speaking of Butch and Sundance, candle_beck posted a Sam/Dean version last June. For those who can get past the 'cest, it's a pretty great adaptation. It's called On the Dodge.
Why are they doing this? Anime Bobby looks like a creeper, and Missouri looks like Whoopi Goldberg went feral. Oy.
Are those the real character drawings for the Japanese anime or just fan art? Either way, they're just disturbing.
They're supposed to be for the anime.
Those are truly disturbing.
And very wrong.
Did John ever know, while he was alive, that Mary had been a hunter? I mean, Michael wiped his memory and all, but do you think he ever found out in the years after she died, while looking for answers?
Hmmm. I think he found out the "truth" from Missouri after Mary died. I guess I assumed that in his journal meant that he found out Mary was a hunter who was killed by the YED. I guess maybe he might have just found out that Sam was a chosen one. I'd like to think he knew what Mary was and could appreciate her even more.
Also, do you think now that they've delved into Campbell family history, they'll explore the Winchester side of the family? John must have had some existing relatives, right?
I hope so. Also, I hope they are cuter and less creepy. When Young John says that he never gets to meet people from Mary's side of the family, that implies that they meet his side, right?
I thought that the truth he found out was that there was somethings supernatural about Mary's death. It wouldn't be the most un-Johnlike for him to not mention it to his kids that they're multi-generation hunters, but since there's no indication in the text, I assume not (also because it's pretty possible Kripke hadn't decided yet).
I definitely don't think that he knew Sam was the Boy King yet, because that's all tied up with a demon having been responsible for Mary's death, and he doesn't learn that until shortly before the series starts.
