Gnargh. This Secret Angels fic: Kids In The Riot is rocking my socks so far. I'm about to read the 6th section. It's AU, politics and spywork, and D/C, and I'm just loving it to pieces. It's also terribly sad.
Sansday (who is now stealthily a fave of mine) is breaking my heart into tiny pieces with All The Hours Wound which she's 6/7 of the way through posting. I hope it holds up through the end--it's fallen!amnesiac!Cas D/C, and it's even sadder than the first fic.
Now to watch the promo and cheer myself up, right?
eta: having seen the trailer: SAMMMMY!
The composition of scenes in Samuel's compounds (both of them), and the fact that I couldn't really tell what the hell was going on in the fights at the vampire progenitor's place and when Parker Lewis pulled the vampire off Sam.
I'm with you. I had to rewind like four times to figure out where the fuck Gwen came from after Sampa caught them with the Alpha.
I seem to have missed what's up with Purgatory. Did Castiel say something?
Did Castiel say something?
Other than what Crowley explained?
When Crowley mentioned Purgatory, Sam said, "You've heard?" Was Purgatory brought up before then?
The alpha vamp talked about it before Crowley showed up, if I have my timeline correct.
Yes he did. I think that Sam was surprised that Crowley knew what was going on, because Sampa tends to keep things close to the vest.
I was surfing for some references for my next picture, and stumbled upon this, which asserts D/C fails the broccoli test. I would tweak it a bit so that Dean wanted the broccoli for Sam, but those boys aren't talking vegetables when they eyesex.
Even though I anti-ship them, I think Dean/Sam totally would pass. Just that Sam might refuse. But he knows what Dean wants.
I don't know - I agree that Sam knows what Dean wants but think he would be so taken aback that Dean wants a green vegetable that he would second-guess himself (prior Sam, not RoboSam) and stand there, helpless, in the produce aisle. Now if it were the pie test....
Even though I anti-ship them, I think Dean/Sam totally would pass.
They do pass the broccoli test.
God, they hit my competence kink with silent communication. I think I need to fire up some S1 later today.
I think the key for the Winchesters here isn't silent communication--it is indeed getting on the same page with that information.
D/C I envision more as "Broccoli." "Sex?" "Sex! No, broccoli." "Green what?" "OK, sex."
