Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

I think Stephenie Meyer may be immune to parody. Based on the plot synopses I've read, writing anything more ridiculously over-the-top in order to lampoon the original work might be beyond the capacity of human beings.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think the "shorter" genre may have been invented for that sort of situation. Summarize one of the twilight books in 150 words or less for a full concentrated dose of absurdity. (Or 300 or 500 if the sheer volume of stupidity requires it.)

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I did not go near that verse.

I . . . did.

::hangs head in shame::

Thankfully the species sex was mostly correct (cats and dogs* living together, oh my!) and Sam/Gabe was background noise, thankfully. But it was, as usual, absolutely f*cked up, and then got weirdly curtain-ficcy.

*yes, yes I did initially spell it "gods"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am loving the Twilight fic so far, but I'm all sadface right now. Boys!

Okay, bye, you undeserving "fans".

At least Samuel seems to think so too.

I love that even weak without blood, Dean is making mincemeat of all these new vampires who have no training.
