You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoa, definitely. The Hunger Games AU was very good. I spent too long wondering how closely it would fit Hunger Games canon, but that's entirely not the point. There's no character mapping, pretty much, past Sam and Dean and Prim and Katniss. Pretty much. After that, it's a pretty deft conceptual interweaving of the two universes.

The primary conceit of sibling devotion is a really easy gimme. And the rest of it is very nicely crafted.

Now I'm wondering two things: Why was the betaing on haruslex's BB so damned bad? Can I make it through the BB that has Sam/Gabriel and Michael/Lucifer? Okay, three things--will the Good Omens crossover work for someone who knows as little as I do, or will it make my eyes cross?

Oh, hello. The fic with the dubious pairings has art by the same person who did that stilted Precious fic, and is the same artist as did Scaramouche's HS AU. Art post: [link] I totally recognised their Dean before their style.

Because books.

Oh man, I just read a casting spoiler accidentally. Thank you, IMdB. But it's pretty cool, so I'll forgive them.

i'm not normally a SPN fic reader, but i'm intrigued with a SPN/Hunger Games crossover. link?

Bird of Paradise. But it's not a crossover, it's a fusion.

Because books.

We can help Sam and Dean get a TV Guide cover, if we're so inclined.

I would bitch about the S1ness of that photo, but HALLOO old school Smallville. I still miss you, Lex!

Hey, if you're in a supporty votey mood, nominate Show and Show's actors for People's Choice Awards.

OMG, the more people write Sam/Gabriel or Gabriel apologia in general (both recent in the D/C BB) I think more about why this is not beautiful cake, and I come out of it liking Gabriel less. That last D/C BB fic was 50% Gabe is wonderful and you boys are mean for not realising, and 50% D/C. That's an odd breakdown for the D/C BB. Gabe gets his own BB coming up.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Maybe some of the authors have siblings that they'd like to watch die over and over again?
