I made it as far thru the Star Wars one to get to the sex scene and it was all holistic Jedi mind force sex with sharing and caring and I just...ick. And strongly italicised. Also Sam is very pouty and jealous of Dean. Skippity skip.

Did you read the de-aged Dean fic? I rank that with Contrapasso as my favourite right now.
Not yet. I've been trying to get the apartment clean for visiting family, so the lack of sexy times potential had me put it on the backburner for now.
But I did reread Our Hell is a Good Life, didn't like it as well as I remembered. Ending felt, not rushed, but not invested in, a different tone, more expository. I still love every inch of the beginning and middle, though.
So far the only Dean/Cas big bang fic I've been able to stick with until the end is "It's Always the End of the World Somewhere." Though I haven't had the chance to look at the last couple posted yet.
pyrebi's "Start Quoting Shakespeare and We're Done" for the mini bang may be my favorite SPN story of 2010.
I really like the first couple of AU stories in twentysomething's shortskirts verse, but diminishing returns hit with a vengeance around story #3 when the porny curtainfic starts. And some really implausible situations that throw me right out of the story crop up later in the series.
The mini bang had a higher high than the main bang so far. Scaramouche's HS AU was just stellar, and may be my favourite long story of 2010. pyrebi's story is also pretty good. Of course, I will have to make a list, come the end of the year.

Is Smoke On The Water going to earworm me every Friday? This is really annoying.
Thunderstruck is the one that always sticks in my head, when they show that clip of Sam getting hit by lightning in the previouslies.
I suppose I should be thankful that Supernatural and Mama Mia! are at least earworming me with songs I can stand listening to for extended periods.
