Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Added to queue. Oh, that's why Dean's a Cirque de Soleil performer. It seemed kinda random.

It's interesting drawing the parallels between this fic and rockstarpeach's (I haven't finished this one yet--Cas has just fallen and met Dean), especially not having seen the movie in question.

My main (and marked) irritation with it is that she twice calls Uriel's hands paws. Fuck that noise. Just, don't go there. His hands? Normal sized. He's no Jared Padalecki.

I didn't like where she went with Missouri and John. Then that there was all that and no follow-through with Sam.

In which story, Julie? The Wings of Desire one? I didn't feel there was much buildup. I mean, it was a shame there wasn't more Sam especially, but I thought John was very wrapped up.

Yeah, that one. I meant the Sam stuff. I'll have to reread. Maybe I missed the point that Sam and John were meant to be permanently gone from Dean's life and I'm just so well-trained in fic to expect there to be reunions and settling of differences (more for Sam in this case). I also had a hard time reading the flashbacks and the present story as one story. Again, I'll have to reread, because I was absolutely exhausted when I read it.

I'm hesitant to even touch the Star Wars fusion fic. anything that has a character guide and a language glossary is frightening. Has anyone read the prequel to it?

I've started the Star Wars fusion, and NOTHING IS HAPPENING. First of all, I don't recognise anything other than the force, at the most basic. Also, everyone's just sitting around talking or dreaming. The author said that if you had read the prequel you'd get the nuance, but I feel seriously at sea in the Star Wars universe itself. I can't work out what she's making up and what is "real."

Well, John is dead, so that's pretty much all they wrote.

Okay, skipping the Star Wars fic.

On your whitefont, yeah, that's done and done.

Also, the hookup was instantaneous. I feel like I missed an entire chapter or two.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I was going to ask for the link when 'fusion' sunk in. I'm a crossover kind of girl. I've been reading a lot of Quantum Leap lately and enjoying the hell out of it. Yes, I found my way over to AO3 and have been browsing for stories as opposed to only reading stories linked by you all.

I'm linking to these pictures just because I think this is the twink thread, by default.

Another annoying thing about the Star Wars fusion is that she italicises every fifteenth word. Honey, if you can't actually phrase your English to convey impact more consistently, you're doing it wrong.

Laga, reading on your own? Tsk, tsk. That way only lies pain.

So far I've only found a couple of clunkers and I was able to click away. I'm really amazed at the amount of stuff with spot-on characterizations. If the characters feel right to me, I don't care what the story is about. I'm even reading gen!

What is with the plethora of fic posted in grey font and some that are grey font with all the italics in blue? And there was a recent DCBB that I think even had several different colours for different emphasis. Light grey on white back is vera hard to read. Every time I shift I have to fuss with the angle of my laptop so it doesn't all look white. Whyfore make the reading so hard, dear authors?!
