Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

ETA: Spoiler-phobes may want to avoid the Jensen meet & greet summaries (at least one out there is spoiler-y).

Thank you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Julie, don't bother reading "Don't Ask Don't Tell." It's awkward and stiff and pretty much a PSA. Or you could just skip to the end for the sex scene. But the AU personas have nothing to do with canon, other than Sam and Jess, pretty much, and they're barely in it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Too late, ita.

I can handle some OOC stories as long as the story is good, but in this the opportunities for gross misunderstandings was ridiculous. The contrivances were tiring. In fact, I'm getting tired of the stories that have contrived match-making as their central premise.

And, really, there's only so much douche!Dean I can handle. That had way too much. Burning The Days danced right on the line.

It's RPF, and therefore outside my reading zone, but the summary for the story where Gabriel is resurrected in our universe and matchmakes Jensen/Misha because they remind him of Dean/Castiel makes me giggle a bit.

Was Burning the Days the one where Cas is trying to get Dean not to say "God" in bed, and solves the issue by whispering "John" into his ear? Cracked me the hell up. But yeah, the douchiness and the obtuseness was a bit much. More than that, I kept forgetting what story I was reading from chapter to chapter, because the only thing stringing it all together was the porn.

Yeah, that's the one. The porn level in it was a bit erratic. It was kinda weird. And the plot a bit inconsistent. But I liked how they wrapped it up, with the sudden BAU cameo.

In one of those "I'll just whisper John at you" fics (I know I've seen it once before), Cas is going to discover Dean's Daddy!kink, and then, you know...

I wanted more of the BAU once it got there. More insight/outsider pov, but alas.

Please don't tell me Cas goes and envessels Sir...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Speaking of envesseling Sir, Matt was really cute in his Q&A. He said JDM is one of the actors he'd most like to work with, and that he had studied how he played John. Awwww.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Found by way of the spnnewsletter: a download of the complete Misha/Jared/Jensen panel, filmed in High Definition. It's a bigass file that takes a while to download (all but 829 MB). I haven't been able to watch very much of it yet (I've only gotten to the part where Misha is talking about how he carved the sigil into himself and filming was held up because he kept fainting from blood loss) but it really does seem to be good -- the picture's clear and close up and the sound's good.
