Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

Oh, they got the trenchcoat: but it was replaceable.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

IT'S NOT YOUR PRECIOUS. GIVE IT BACK.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The BBC got the Daleks back that one time. Keep hope alive!

It's almost worse to think about it languishing in the bottom of a pile of lost parcels, or with someone who doesn't know what it was. I'd almost rather it get held for ransom by Becky.

Art Crawl!!!

Behind the scenes of JA's directorial debut - video at the link. Spoilery (of course - mostly casting with some slight plottiness.)

I looked. I didn't listen. Good GOD, that boy is pretty. And we need the boys to wear more T-shirts and fewer layers. Perhaps the wardrobe loss could encourage that?

I was reading one of today's D/C BB stories (Burning The Days) and the author terribly abuses the runwordstogether visceral impression method of conveying emotion. Can I have some actual description of actions, please? An entire paragraph of that--multiple paragraphs of that is too much.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Gasp. That's almost more pretty than I can stand before I finish my morning ration of caffeine.

I understand the wardrobe department has about a dozen replicas of every garment Sam and Dean wear on camera, and I know I saw a photo somewhere of a rack with at least five or six of Dean's leather jackets hanging. Someone who was doing costume research a couple of years back found and linked to the coat from the actual manufacturer, still made and available new, and I have no doubt the backups have been artfully aged as standins. Still, it's disconcerting to lose "the" jacket. Cas' raincoat is probably more easily replicated, but it's a bummer to lose it, too. Sam's brown hoodie? That's the icon garment for him I guess, though he hasn't worn it in recent seasons.

Now that I think of it, the leather coat has been pretty rare in appearance the last couple of seasons, too.
