Which is why it's pretty deceptive; a lot of the Sam-ness if definitely there.
But he is lying like a lying thing.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Maybe Sam was tipping the prostitute and he'd already paid her upfront. t /fanwank
Yeah, I know.
Okay, back to the fanart that's kicking my ass.
Thing is, I read people complaining Sam was so hot he doesn't have to pay for it.
I'd say Sam is hot enough that he'd never have to pay for sex, assuming talking about the family business isn't something he uses in his pick-up game. But once he's decided to call the escort ad, no way do I buy someone who's apparently a high-end professional deciding to give him a freebie. That would mean not only is she not getting paid, she'd end up paying whatever cut the service normally gets.
Dean lied about what he remembered about hell and how it affected him for the first few episodes after he came back. And Sam called him on it. But, anyway, I don't think Dean has a lot of room to complain that Sam won't open up about it.

Yeah, whoever's making that point ignores the fact that plenty of goodlooking famous slash rich men solicit prostitutes all the time. It's a pretty dumb argument. It's even less tied into the reality of sex work than what we actually saw, IMO.
Was it Charlie Sheen who said you pay them to go away? Poor Sammy, so goodlooking he can hardly manage that. Or, you know, too much tiger in the sack.
I don't think Dean has a lot of room to complain that Sam won't open up about it.
Well, he does have the "You made me talk about it" defense. Sam may be being a hypocrite here. It was never implied that Dean not talking was a good or healthy thing, especially in Sam's eyes at the time.

True, but I don't think Dean's feeling so much "OMG UR INTERNALIZING UR PAIN!" as much as he feels like Somethin' Ain't Right. And he's going digging for whatever it is.
And I am firmly in the Ain't Right camp.
Chicago Con is this weekend, Matt Cohen and Aldis are both there. Yesterday in Matt's panel disco came up and a fan came up onstage to do the jerk with him. He told the audience they should ask Aldis to demonstrate, since he apparently knows the dance and does it well. That's your Matt-Aldis jerk ref.
Sam has demonstrated extreme control freak behavior before when he's mentally overwhelmed. I see a little of Mystery Spot Sam at play here, enough that I'm not entirely sure what's going on with him.
What Whiskey Won't Cure. It wasn't really spoilery for anything other than the existence of Ben and Lisa.
Thanks! I knew it wasn't really spoilery for the season, certainly not past promos. But as me, it was better to wait.
Maybe Sam was tipping the prostitute and he'd already paid her upfront.
That is way less creepy than what they appeared to be doing. I accept this fanwank as my own.
I am totally seeing Mystery Spot Sam in S6 Sam so far. There's something wrong with him if he's Sam.
