Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I love cold-assed hooker-buying shirtless iliac crest Sam.
Not only that, apparently shirtless iliac crest Sam was impressive enough that she almost forgot her money. And wants him to call her on her night off, so she wouldn't get paid then either.
I may have rewatched him working out again. Maybe.
I love Cas trying to maintain his faith in the face of betrayals around him
I feel so bad for poor Castiel. He's just learning how to deal with emotions anyway, and he's getting hit with so many at the negative end of the spectrum. And he's being disappointed over and over by his brothers.
Do you think we can take up some sort of petition for Sera to change Castiel's wardrobe? Or to at least get rid of the trenchcoat?
Parker belongs with Eliot and Hardison!
Balthazar is down with the orgy though
Cas' eternal life sucks so hard. God's still gone, Raphael and his cronies want to overthrow him, the other angels are using him as a scapegoat to behave badly, and he doesn't have the luxury to be a soft touch. And he's feeling it all. My woobie bamf Cas

It was a very pretty scene. Nowhere near the Sam we've known for years, but damn pretty.
I kinda won't personally miss the Charger but I did like Sam having something of his own.
I skimming around, and people were bitching that Sam's character was being assassinated with the sex for pay. Or that the integrity of the exchange was violated when she seemed willing to do it for free. And one person at least said a guy that good looking doesn't pay for it. Puh-lease. PLEASE. He doesn't have to--ask Dean. But sometimes it's just simpler.
S4 Castiel wouldn't have begged his brethren to come back. So it's a weird place he's in--it's not s5 where his world is the search for god and the boys--it's more like s4 when it's about Heaven, but he's making orders, not taking them, and it's all different now. Baby's first government.
Oh, the prayer exchange. "Profound bond" ... apologising to Dean for telling Sam. Dean insisting that, bond aside, Cas must take Sam just as seriously (Sam and Dean 4eva!) as he takes him. And Cas pointing out Heaven's more important than any of them.
Seriously, you think the porn is at spn_castiel?

Dude, Sam is just different than that guy in S1. Whether he's not!Sam, camebackwrong!Sam or just Sam hunting for a year either alone or with creepy family without Dean doesn't really matter. He's clearly now paying for it.
And guys who "don't have to pay for it"? Pay for it. Because it's a business transaction. It's not emotional and they can ask the woman to leave whenever.
I, personally, was totally creeped out by a sex worker who seemed to be offering free sex on a return trip and maybe was leaving without pay. Because it's a business transaction for her too. A pretty one this time, but business. I assume they had that part so that Sam could crumple and throw away her number. But it was a creepy way to show that disconnect.

Yeah, that raised my hackles a bit.

Anyone else see this Castiel heading toward the sex & drugs cult leader version even faster? Because if he keeps getting disappointed like this, it's going to happen.
I did like Sam having something of his own.
I've been bothered for a long time by his lack of possessions. Neither of the guys really has much to call his own, and for Sam I realize it's because of the fire in Palo Alto, but for the last 5 years all he's owned has been a laptop and a knife, more or less. Dean (prior to this season, anyway) didn't have a lot, but he's at least been more grounded in Winchester history what with the Impala (the family car), the music tapes (we were told they were John's taste in music, weren't we?), the leather jacket (John's jacket), and the amulet (the gift from Sam). But Sam's list seems particularly meager. I know him having his own car couldn't last for meta reasons; it was necessary for the show to get the two of them back into one car. But I really did like the thought of him having his own piece of independence. As I mentioned once before, in the world of the Winchesters, having your own car is practically moving into your own apartment.
Some of my feelings about belongings and lack thereof is no doubt influenced by my own tendency to attach sentimental feelings to inanimate objects, and I know they wouldn't have the luxury of doing anything like that. But still.... essentially, he lives out of a duffle bag, and I thought the car gave him a tiny little bit more room to expand, I suppose.

Which is part of why Amy's fic about Whiskey the toy bunny completely gutted me.
I need a link to that. It was spoilery for promos when it was linked and I was all abstain girl. But I really meant to mark it and read it. Sadly I lost it somewhere. Want Whiskey.
