Each viewing I am happier that they didn't try and shove love at us. Even in the montage, snuggling in bed, it's more comfort and friendship. Dean can build on that.
eta: Okay, Superwiki is really da bomb, ya know? It wasn't the pilot episode. In 6.01, the female djinn says, "this is for our dad, you son of a bitch" and Dean said in AHBL part2, "that was for our mom, you son of a bitch". Anyway, it jingled enough that I knew it was familiar.

I don't think, in the Supernatural verse that humans can become angels but I suppose it's possible Sam could be an angel's vessel.

Am watching Death Takes a Holiday this morning and the bit in the diner in the begining got me good, in light of the episode last week. Dean is still smarting from the Siren and the things Sam said. Dean's "Sure you want me going with you?" and "I don't want to hold you back."
I just saw that, Suzi! So much hurt.
My other half just wondered if Sam is an angel. That can't be, right?! I'm all ... DUDE. No!?!
I've wondered here if Sam has Lucifer's grace. Anna was human and she managed to suck in her grace and become an angel again. Anything's possible in SPN-verse.
I completely missed that, I'm sorry!
It does seem odd that it would still be called "grace" when it's Lucifer, but it is what it is, I suppose.
And that makes a lot more sense than Sam actually *becoming* an angel, actually.
I'd be surprised if someone could be usefully possessed of someone else's grace, but, hey, Show does like to surprise.
