Early ,'Objects In Space'

I'm thinking we were supposed to be made to feel unsettled by that episode. It achieved its goal, but (for the most part) I didn't enjoy it. But I am still hopeful for the season, I still love the Winchesters, and I'm 99% sure next week's episode will make me happy.
eta: I won't be at all surprised if I end up feeling differently about the season premiere after a rewatch.
After another look at the title card, my mind is going to one place. I know I have some priming going on because "Super" is in the title, but I was thinking Superman's fortress of ice solitude, and also when the glass breaks, the floating crystal shard of the Phantom Zone.
So I fully expect this to portend that Tom Welling will be doing a guest appearance on SPN as Clark Kent.

I mean, I guess she could have gotten petite-madame, or dauntdraws, or daggonus prime, but no, she's gotten an artist who writes, and who writes D/C, so she can be so easily compared.
