I think I prefer my renegade angels to be doing what they believe is the Lord's work loyally, just in a way that will result in extinction-level collateral damage, rather than defecting to the other side or sneering at the very idea of God. Gabriel in Constantine worked very well for me, Uriel not so much.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I'm sure that Dean won't find out from Sam. I saw the vamp-ho Rilesque scene in the Canadian promo and uh- yes went to the Riley thing.
I was also disappointed that Uriel turned out to be the rogue. I wonder if Uriel has been doing something to make Castiel less effective against, say, Alastair - because I agree that it's wrong that he has less power than Sam does.
"Shit, they just made another black character a Judas, and then dead" was a judgment.
Thank you. That ruined an otherwise perfectly awesome ep for me. I am just. so. tired. of the tin ear on Show.
I think i'm going to go home and watch this ep again tonight. i spent most of last night with my heart in my throat. they are really breaking Dean(and in the process me).
I do think we've finally found something Misha doesn't do well. fight scenes. his hits looked so wimpy! i'm surprised ita hasn't been in here complaining about his technique.
The J's and Christopher Heyerdahl certainly have more experience on their resumés for that particular skill.
ita is undergoing medical treatment we hope will relieve some of her pain.

Surely we are not the only part of fandom who notices this? Have the showrunners really missed all the criticism on this? Or do the showrunners know and just not care?
I think they've improved a lot on misogyny issues this year, but the racial aspect is still troublesome.

is she? good! i hope so too. (i don't get into Natter or Bitches like i wish i could. there's never enough time!)

Gotta say, not having seen the ep, just reading here, that was certainly what I thought. For fuck's sakes. SO needlessly fucking crap. Why must they be shit about race? Why?
Oh, show. I don't know how to quit you. You give me the doomed hot uberwoobies, and angels on the brink of falling, and cute wee death!girl, and badass demons, and, and, and you just know ALL my sweet spots. And yet you bring the squicky race issues, damn you.
