Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think Perkins would be better off to read a script of this episode, the gore is pretty damn high.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

How unfortunate that Misha feels the need to reach the depths of Jensen and Jared's voices. I can't take him seriously anymore. I'm laughing but not in a good way.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Dean should have agreed to do it only if Castiel stood there and had to watch the whole thing. That way he would be there NOW! Although, really, how can Alastair hurt Dean any more than he already has?

It shows what depths of self-loathing Sam must have reached...all along he's hated the thought of having any demon blood in him, and that happened completely without any involvement on his part (6 months old, after all). But now he's actively choosing to imbibe more, and way more than he swallowed as an infant.

And when he said he "needed" it, it didn't sound like just to be stronger. It sounded like an addict.

Probably. Those special effects are a little too good. I'm kinda worried about the guys that were able to make that. Yuck.

I'm still thinking Castiel's portrayal is appropriately alien - like.

Okay, that was a definte 11 on the gore meter.

Sammy may as well have been the one in Hell. He sure as hell enjoyed what he was doing to Alastair more than Dean did.

I think the angels have a traitor in the ranks.

"Miracle, Now!" Oh Sam

"I think maybe our Father isn't the One giving the orders anymore" I'd be watching out for the lightning there Cass.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I don't think Misha's talking any differently than he did the first time we saw him.

i'm not really getting how Anna has the freedom to come and go as she pleases since she chose to fall. especially since even Castiel thinks she's at least a little bit contemptible.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

He sure as hell enjoyed what he was doing to Alastair more than Dean did.

Well, Sam was getting back at the demon he knew tortured Dean for years, and did he know that Alistair tortured John?
