It was my birthday recently. I hope visiting relatives come bearing gifts of DVD boxed sets this weekend.
Otherwise I will have to go shopping.
Shit! I need to get visiting family member their own b-day present! Hmmm, maybe we need to coordinate on what seasons we get each other... (the good thing about having a brother as wonderfully geeky as me is that we buy things we want to watch ourselves, watch them, then gift wrap them, then watch them together anyway).
Is Amazon.com the only place to buy the soundtrack? I don't shop from there, and that's kinda annoying.
Off topic but why don't you shop Amazon? I have been doing mp3s from there because iTunes and it's DRM pisses me off. I bought the music legally and with real monies, I want to use it. But if I need to find another mp3 source, I will.
The Impala's gearstick is on the steering column.
On the upside, I'm pretty sure the back seat is a bench seat, which makes fictional (and canonical) shenanigans look more comfortable than they would in more modern seats.
pretty sure itunes has gotten rid of DRMs. that's why most singles are now $1.29, which still makes Amazon the cheaper of the two. so i prefer them too.
They pissed me off when they tried to patent one-click shopping, and then they had the stupid shit where they deleted 1984 from people's Kindles. Although they'd erroneously sold the copies, they handled the whole deal so Big Brotherishly it just cemented my ill will towards them.
It's a small thing, and I'd never try and talk anyone else into it. But one-click shopping? Seriously?
eta: I pay the premium when I shop at B&N and iTunes, but I'm okay with it.

Backseat shenanigans are supposed to be a problem? I hadn't noticed such bucketing of backseats. Mine's certainly fine (although it's none one I've experimented in).
Front seat is bench, so lots of mobility there.
Not sure on the canonicity of seatbelts, though. Those throw me out of stories because I wonder.

I'll have to check my 1967 Impala owners manual when I get home, but IIRC, the lap belt was either standard or an option.
Leather seats are what throw me out.
Is this when I mention that one of my boyfriends had the same car as the Winchesters?

This is true.
