Mal: Go on. Get in there. Give your brother a thrashing for messing up your plan. River: He takes so much looking after.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If I had Sam and Dean dress-up dolls, the shirts would not get much use.

Because books.

I would need a towel for Dean's head, too.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And Sam in a towel.

::falls over::

now that I may have a practical use for it rather than just nosiness.

Dude, I'm picturing Dean giving you the thumbs up.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

grapenuts

After Bev's description my internal voice is screaming, "No, you *cannot* buy three sets of the DVDs!"

Life is unfair.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(Note to self: consider picking up a copy now that I may have a practical use for it rather than just nosiness.)

It's a pretty charming book. I picked it up for Yuletide research.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My S5 has already shipped from BN, so I don't have any rational reason to get one of the other sets with doodads. I'm sad, but not that sad, because soon! S5! And then! S6!

Rational is overrated.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Dude, I'm picturing Dean giving you the thumbs up.

I won't say Labor Day is now my favorite holiday, but it definitely moved up the chart a few spaces this year.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Rational reason: you always intended all along to donate the original set to the local library. Yeah.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

They are in my hands. I haven't popped anything in the player yet, because I've fallen upon lunch and been celebrating a clear mammo. Woo!

My favorite, no mockery outfits for Winchesters would be a grey heather t-shirt, blue shirt and jeans for John, both Matt and JDM. I like John's old tan canvas coat on him, too. Scruffy.

Jeans and a grey heather henley for Dean, and jeans and a grey heather v-necked tee for Sam.

I'm so damn easy to please. Or skin. Skin's always good.

Someone on a comm asked when seeing the Jensen-plays-soccer pics, "Don't American men have body hair?" Heh.

Don't look at me like that. I'm not thinking of sneaking up to Best Buy to get a keychain with a second set of dvds to, um, loan! Yeah, I could use 'em for bait!

I'd just like to say, I've always sent H out of the room at SPN-watching time, and chosen times when he was elsewhere or otherwise occupied to rewatch. His snark is legend, and while I will snark with you guys, you've earned the privilege--he hasn't. At least till now.

I told him I was doing a five-season fast and dirty marathon up to the 9.24 S6 premiere, that he was welcome to watch as long as he refrained from sarcasm, at least until the ep was over. Otherwise, unass the room, dude.

We've done three and four eps per day or evening since we started, and he's been receptive the whole time. We watched the Paley panel after he'd seen Shadow, and despite hating BTS and commentary, he liked getting to know the people involved a bit. We finished S1 and the gag reel last night, with the mandatory immediate viewing of IMTOD, and he opines that SPN is "more interesting" than most cop shows and procedurals in recent memory. He's impressed by the actors, entertained by the writing, and intrigued by the effects. He's not an easy convert, so this is kinda huge.
