Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh.

I suppose now that Sam dying in Dean's arms has ruined it for me, I will never know its magic.

Because books.

On the trip down, I realized it might also have to do with exhibitionism. Someone's watching you do something intimate, and actually talking about, so that could be the turn-on.

I guess. I just can't put myself in that headspace.

Hey, does Dean call Sam a "pretty pretty princess" in canon? I keep seeing that precise phrase in fics.

I've seen episode descriptions for the anime. We need to work out what's spoilery and what's not. In the first four, there are two S1 episodes, not including the pilot, which is kinda weird.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The anime is preseries, yes?

I *feel* like Dean has called Sam a princess and even maybe a pretty princess but my cites are from my posterior.

No, the anime is going to have S1 and S2 episodes, plus new eps in that timeline, plus preseries. I don't think it's spoilery to say they're going to do Home and Skin, but I'll delete if anyone objects. I won't describe the original eps.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Princess strikes me as a Bobbyism.

He did call Dean a princess at least once.

I've seen a few fics with the precise "pretty pretty princess" phrase, and was just wondering if I was forgetting a canon instance, or everyone decided on that together (sort of like Dean hating Sam's hair--does he criticise it onscreen?).

The Boy King. Crack vid. Except, almost not. Except, totally.

It's, like, tailor made for spn!

The song, I mean. Not the footage...

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

ita, I think the "pretty, pretty princess" is one of those things that just gets used a lot in slash. I see it (and have used it, myself) in Star Trek fic. Usually about James T. Kirk (he so is one, it's hard to not use the phrase with him.) I'm trying to remember if I've seen it in NCIS slash, but can't recall offhand. DiNozzo would definitely fit the bill.

Yeah, we'll need to work out an anime spoiler policy. Can we fake it and do it inthread?

I've got no problems with putting the info here with maybe whitefont. I mean, personally, I am okay with it just being posted in here but it's airing only in Japan from what I can see, so it feels a little presumptive not to white for others.
