JDM's a big guy. Poor JA. He must have been so happy when "wee" Misha showed up. There's a hysterical macro out there somewhere (I don't remember where I snagged it from) about the taller than average guys on SPN being unintentionally schooled by JP's height. JDM looks like an average guy next to him, making JA look like a midget.

I would think this would interfere with casting. I think of TV people as on the short side, so a cast of tall ones (while satisfying my personal kink) might be hard to shoot around when guests come to visit.

(Also Also) Some of those teen pics (I'm guessing he was 18) of JA need to disappear for ever. They make me a little mad at his mom, which may be unfair and irrational, but it's real inside my head.

And to weigh in, Colin is blond, but darkens while remaining blond, as do his doppelgangers Mark Valley and Joel Gretsch. JA is in the same category. His freckles give him away. Jared is always brown (and wears it well).

I was thinking about Cas and season 6. While I still stand by my earlier wish that Cas remains in the boys lives in the capacity of friend, and not as a deus ex machina the writers need to clumsily remove from the picture, and not as a giver of missions, I was trying to think on how that could come about. Busy in Heaven is a good one. But then I was also thinking about Angels being instruments of fate, and maybe where there is no fate involved at this point, maybe Cas' hands are tied in heavenly red tape, and cannot overtly assist the boys. That, maybe his staying out of it for the most part is part of respect to the "no heaven, no hell, just more of the same". Of course, now I'm just thinking of the Ancients on SG-1, and is also kinda similar to Cas being under orders in season 4, and feels like a retred. So... busy in Heaven, I can dig that.
