I'm really really glad that we made the rule that regulars for next year won't be spoilers (hello Castiel!). But I still feel at a loss for regular recurrings. It leaves Bobby verboten for discussion, and that feels like a big hole for the show thread.

The other big hole is the teaser trailers--I totally think they should be whitefont, but I also think that they should be allowable here.

I just...Bureaucracy, you know? No one cares, probably, other than the denizens of this thread, because it's the only active single show thread left on the board (scary, huh?), and I haven't seen other shows do teasers (other than White Collar, and it never came up in thread).

I think it's breaking thread rules to share something from I assume S5 outtakes shown at comicon but ita and the d/c lovers out there need to see it!

Yeah it's a discussion worth having because ... Well, because it is. But it does feel kinda like it's mostly just about us given that everything else is bucketed. Plus I have conflicted feelings in Bureau from when this thread was created. Still. It's just a sore spot.

As spoilerphobic as I am, I don't mind web promos and stuff under whitefont. In fact it seems like people should be able to talk about CW stuff and recurring unmain characters in thread so long as it's avoidable and there's some nod to what is under the whitefont.

That is weird. Although Lost would still have one if the show had continued, I assume. Could we just hash out rules here, or is that not cool?

This is the outcast thread, nobody (besides us, I mean) comes in here unless they're slumming. Nobody will likely ever notice. And if they do they won't care. (Oh hi thar, issues similar to Cass') Plei's the only narc as far as policy goes, and if she can be okay with whitefonting recurrings and aired network promos, then I don't see a problem with it.

I'd rather not deal with swathes of whitefont though that could be discussed in lite.

I'm actually still unclear on where potential spoilers might have been unintentionally leaked, and what thread/board rules might have been broken. I want to make sure that I'm not one of the One's being naughty. I don't think I've been, but that doesn't mean I haven't been.

Julie, anything that's been whitefonted that's not protecting people from something fic or squick related probably shouldn't be here. Because if it's show-related and hasn't aired, it's a spoiler, and currently belongs somewhere else. If you haven't done that (I have, when I wasn't paying attention), you're in the clear.

Okay. I'm clear on the spoiler-y future season stuff, but I wasn't sure if pre-release dvd extras were verboten.
