Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I did kinda click on the most bowleggded pic. What's that all about?

It's because his sunglasses were hiding the crinkles, so you had to go to the second best thing.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Looking at those pictures of JA I am forced to kick a dead horse and think blond? Really?

I still see them and think yes, blonde! Our dead horses are of a different color, apparently.

Because books.

My dead horse is bow-legged. With gorgeous hands and freckles.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

::sigh:: I just outed myself as a slash reader on IO9. There's no way this ends well. But I knew if I didn't say anything, it would just be a slash-bashing (and maybe even fic-bashing, given the audience) discussion.

I need to go back to thinking of the bow-leggdedness.

Amy - Jul 23, 2010 7:53:14 am PDT #12138 of 30002
Because books.

What was the topic?

Thinking of bow-leggedness has gotten me through many a long day, let me just say.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you actually like slash fiction? I've heard that the authors and audience are mostly women. Is that true?

I just...the people who didn't know just really didn't know.

Because books.

Ugh.

Because books.

Meanwhile, Show is confusing. As ever.

In the Beginning was on this morning, and Cas tells Dean that they don't know what Azazel's plan for Sam was, and that if Dean doesn't stop him from palling around with Ruby, they will.

BUT, as we were talking about the other day, everyone up the line, including Gabriel, seems to think/know that the Winchesters were destined to play out this apocalyptic battle. So when Cas says heaven would *stop* Sam, does he mean ... put him ice until such time as he's needed? Certainly not kill him, right?

Although this is early S4, and it's not until S5 that we get more info on heaven's plan and the angels' interference. So the writers might not have known then either.

I hate plot holes. Wanking is such hard work.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Off topic, but I had to pass this along. Based on the White Collar talk in this thread I've mainlined the whole first season. I LOVE it. Neil and Peter are my new OTP!
