Cacophony.  That's pretty.  What's it mean?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sorta show-related, so I'll put it here.

I went by B&N yesterday to pick up #18 of the SPN magazine. The young woman who waited on me has done before when I've picked up the magazine, and we've talked a little about our love for the show. This time she told me, "Ooh! (a co-worker not there yesterday) was working and this really tall guy came in to pick up a bunch of stuff. He had on a "Supernatural crew" shirt, and she said his shirt was cool, and she loved the show. He told her he was artistic director for the whole show. He even told her a spoiler about the episode they were filming at the time, which turned out to be the finale!" Wow, I said. That's exciting. "I know! But they're so close, you know?" Yes, I know. Burnaby's about 40 mins from my house, I thought but didn't say. I did take the opportunity to drape my arm across the counter to show off the Hunter's bracelet I put together a while ago (ETA: I sort of regret using the St. Michael charm now. But at the time, it seemed the logical saint for them). The other cashier sort of gazed at us in puzzlement.

What's really funny? Was that H was there, too, smiling and being all indulgent of the squee. He also picked up a few magazines: Guns & Ammo, Tactical Weapons, that kind of thing. At least it wasn't Busty Asian Beauties, right?

Because books.

That's a great story, Bev. And I have a bracelet like that, thanks to Ailleann!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm re-reading "Our Hell is a Good Life". I just love rosaline-kells' mundane, normal descriptions and dialogue. It's not the filler in between plot points, it's the sum and substance of the story.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I don't require HEA, but damn. It looks bleak.

ita - does "HEA" stand for Happily Ever After?

-- signed, usually sucks at figuring out anagrams

Yes, and you did better than I did--I had to google it myself. Could not figure it out from context. But it was one of those things I thought only I wasn't in on. Sorry for being obscure.

I am convinced that I am not in on most of the anagrams out there -- that the cool kids have invented this whole new language and I'm just picking around the edges of it. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation.

If it weren't for google I'd have no idea what the cool kids were on about.

My god, glorious_spoon just posted a Dean/OMC big bang. On the same day as a good D/C? Is it my birthday and no one told me?
