I don't get why Dean is a weepy mess in that fic. I guess I don't see him becoming that person just because he got ovaries. Especially with the rest of the sexual confidence firmly in place. That's the sort of thing that makes me go "Whuh?" Unless part of the curse was the stereotype.

I think it was ("The curse has done a few pretty funny things to Dean, softened his attitude in subtle ways") and some of it was just exaggerated to heighten the comic effect. (After all, his crying was played for amusement rather than angst.) I'm willing to overlook it because the interaction between Sam and John makes me so happy.

Softened his attitude, sure, but he bangs the entire swim team. Not saying you can't sleep around and get your heart broken. Just that I didn't see *this* being it. I'm just glad PMS wasn't mentioned.
Did like discomfited but dedicated Dad. Suddenly a father of a girl would have a total freakout. I think he'd raise a more safe daughter from birth, than try and convince Dean to be at all sensible as a girl.
