This story was linked in yesterday's crack_impala, and it's gen although it's very adult. A missing scene from Lazarus Rising with Castiel and Dean, and it blew me the fuck away.

Jesus, Julie, it really knocked me over. I cried, too. Just ... such ritual and calm, but also everything he was feeling. Absolutely gorgeous, and something I had never thought about.
That was a really lovely fic.
I accidentally bumped into the fic I was thinking of where Castiel and Sam are going to cook for Dean and Dean takes over: Laugh Lines (Wise Men Say). And it turns out that it's not really what it's about.
