It's entirely possible I'm misunderstanding, but the Supernatural kink meme stories do get filed in Delicious and get tagged pretty thoroughly. That's how I narrow down the field so I can avoid the multitudes of things that I just Do.Not.Want. to read. (Like the Daddy!kink. Seriously, do other fandoms have so many people who are interested in the parents having sex with their offspring? Does this happen in Star Trek or bandom or Torchwood whatever else is big out there?)

Melting is good, but it's fucked up (for me), but it wasn't the fic I was thinking of. It starts off all yummy h/c, and then suddenly there's seriously non-con sandwiched inbetween the con, like it was a kink slotted into the story. And then it's never brought up again and it's all love and puppies, and that doesn't sit right with me.

Actually, for all that I love the whump she brings, and often, and repeatedly, and that the whump is shared and equal opportunity, there's a lot of non-con painful shit that pops up here and there that seems incongruous with the rest of some of the fics. Which I can handle some of, but not between Sam, Dean, and Castiel, not when they're doing it to each other. I'm a fragile flower.

"Our Hell is a Good One" [link] You get dumped into the middle of this one, and half the story is figuring out what the story is, and the other half of the story is figuring out what that story is. (of course, I can be slow, so maybe it's obvious to others).

Bonus points for lasting damage post-whump, and a four day weekend for Cas still being bamf.

My impression is that SPN fandom sent up a beacon that drew everyone on the internet who has an incest kink. The average daily post at spnnewsletter has more stories of that nature than the sum total I've run across in all other fandoms combined.
