However "faerie" covers one hell of a lot: Goblins, Sidhe, Banshees, Rawhides, Redcaps, pixies, gnomes - just off the top of my head. Also I always felt the Wild Hunt was an extremely TV friendly legend that horror shows should explore more.

I mean they did do that one Faerie colony - Faerie Queen and changelings. But many many other type of faeries.

Hmm. Faerie could be interesting. The Wild Hunt could be very interesting on a thematic level as well as just being really cool.
I would also like to see them deal with some non-western creatures at some point, if it could be done without too much research!fail. Kitsune or jiang shi could be fun.

Jamaican folklore would rock. Iffen I had the chops, I'd write them up against a rolling calf or other duppies.
I did read a fic, I'm now remembering, where Dean had a kid with a kitsune. That was...weird.

She was just the main beast, Typo. They never mention that changelings are faerie lore (although in Western folklore they're not strictly faerie, either), and they never call her the "queen" in the episode.
A selkie could be good and heartbreaking, but it's not really vicious at all.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more not-evil supernatural creatures like that for just that reason - it could be heartbreaking if done well.

Okay, if you like AU D/C romcom (WTF? But I'm addicted, it seems): Boys Helping Boys. I found it very charming. And it doesn't even hie to most of my vocal Castiel-related AU rules.
