Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He was the prettiest of the X5s, but only Alba looked flat to me. And that was because she can't act.

Mmmm. I love me some X5 Alec. He was delicious.

There's five seasons worth of JA being delicious here: [link]

And here are a couple of seasons of Misha delisha, as a bonus: [link]

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Season 1 Sam should be extremely easy to render in anime style. Take your standard generic wide-shouldered guy from Macross or any similar style series, and superimpose Cousin It over his head with a wedge subtracted to show part of his face.

Screw you all.

I've gone and attempted to draw teh Ackles. This is the first time I've drawn in . . . shit, has it been twelve years? Am figuring out how to upload from my phone camera to the internet.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Further proof that fandom inspires creativity!

It's still not online yet, but I a better able to critique the anime/art (I still can't explain why I still think his eyes are close set, except maybe he has a narrow skull, and it's the proportions of that that make the proportions of his eyes seem off.)

[link] Here his chin is too narrow, his mouth too wide, the flare of his nose too narrow. He doesn't have a pointy jaw. His face is very slim, not heart-shaped or triangular. His ears are fairly flat against his head. He has high cheek bones but they aren't flashy.

Whereas Sam has become Cro Magnon Man, which is fairly easy to create a caricature of.

Ack! Surprise wincest! So I'm reading this long AU fic, and I read the warnings, and there were even spoiler-barred warnings that I read, and then WHAM! Not cool, and for a throwaway paragraph, rather gratuitous.

And yet, I'm not aghast at the Castiel/Gabriel inappropriate behaviour. Maybe because Castiel is horrified, and Gabriel is just naturally inappropriate and enjoys mindfucking.

Snapfish isn't sending me the necessary 14 digit code I need to get the picture from my phone, so it looks like I won't be sharing my drunken sketches with y'all. Saves me the embarassment, at least.

One day I hope to get my skills back up to the point where rudimentary fanart might be sharable. I'm very much not there yet.

Five times Sam didn't catch a clue (and the time they finally out and told him). Cute! Not my normal favourite of Sam works out first, but plenty of Sam.

I just read that one yesterday! Cute, although I don't see Sam as that obtuse.

I also read a multi-chapter baseball/depression-era AU that I kinda liked [link] Dean and Sam are baseball players, John's the coach, and Castiel is the reporter following their games around. They're not totally in character, but I liked the story for itself--although my desire for serious whumpage never came to pass. I need some fic where I can wallow in the violence, and I've already exhausted strangeandcharm.
