Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Most AU Castiels are lower in the social ranking than Dean, and play on awkward!Castiel. He gets woobified too often, IMO. rockstarpeach has a BB AU where Castiel is a big time businessman, which is an interesting flip, but he's also kinda an asshole, and the character interactions kinda don't make sense--I mean Castiel sleeps with Sam and Dean sleeps with Gabe and we still get happily ever after. Hello?

At the very least, some of the HS/college AUs make him an older student, which balances things out a bit. But too much with the broken. Canon Castiel is a badass who doesn't need anyone's pity, and not really even anyone's sympathy (empathy, on the other hand, much fun). I'd like to see more AUs reflect that.

On a random note, any time someone referes to Gabriel as Gabe, I think Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship, and then my brain goes to a very odd SPN/bandom cross-over place.

And in other news, there is a guy who looks like he could be JDM's brother sitting in the lounge area here in my building. I am keeping an eye out for demons.

Sure. Just tell me how to do that without sounding creepy, crazy, or like *I'M* hitting on him.

Go tell him you loved him in No Country for Old Men!

Jilli, you're charming. You can totally do this. I've hit on guys for other women before, and it's worked out just fine.

Also, Matt's line is excellent. I'm assuming he's been complimented on his Tony Stark many times before.

I just saw a link to a tumblr site exhorting Show to kill Lisa.

Why do people have to act this way? Why can't fans and Deangirls all be perfectly sane?

What risk can her continued existence possibly pose? Dean's going to sit on his ass and not hunt for 21 episodes? Yes, I think that's likely.

My god.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

I like Lisa.

I wonder the same thing. Why is there this incredible hostility toward woman on the show? Although I suppose there's hostility in some measure for the male characters from various camps as well.

What risk can her continued existence possibly pose? Dean's going to sit on his ass and not hunt for 21 episodes?

She's going to bake him pies and make him fat. He'll father lot's of babies with her and they'll turn the show into Eight is Enough.

I think Lisa's cool. But I don't think Dean's in love with Lisa (not yet--maybe he falls in love with her over the summer) and I'm not particularly interested in her as a romantic partner for him, but death? Seriously? That's how you fix things?

I suppose I'm just a crusty old git and showing up 10 years later and then falling in love could be totally romantic, but I find the premise pretty creepy. Nobody better do that to me.

I just looked at the page It's really--people? Not funny.

Kneel before Glod. ~Stephen Colbert

Dean: Come on, Sam. I'm beggin' ya. This is stupid.

Sam: Why?

Dean: Going to visit Mom's grave? She doesn't even have a grave--there was no body left after the fire.

Sam: She has a headstone.

Dean: Yeah, put up by her uncle, a man that we've never even met. So you want to go pay your respects to a slab granite put up by a stranger? Come on.
