I still don't get how you watch this show and absolutely hate one of the boys.
Or not believe in the brotherly bond. I mean, the bits where they go on about it must be boring and frustrating.
"Just consummate your epic romance and stop eye-fucking in front of me all the damn time," Sam is one of my favorites.
"You have just scarred me to my core, I did not need to see that," Sam is a close second for me.
Noodle.
A good Sam reaction shot to "Last time someone looked at me like that, I got laid," would have been pure win.

I might not have recovered from that much fanservice. I am only human.

I suppose if someone has a visceral dislike for one of the actors it could overpower the story. I know Lindsay Price has a habit of popping up in shows that otherwise star lots of people I like, and forcing me to do the Donald Sutherland point-and-screech.
Calli, it's

It's actually really good. Sam the Red Hot Swammi gets a Molly Grue line near the beginning and it is so awesomely heartbreaking. And I actually like the gen friendship (I think, so far) between Prince Dean and Cas where they're hunting dragons
together.
ita, did you get the email, after I stopped being a ditz?
Thanks, Juliebird! I'll check it out.
Reading a couple more of unoshot's fics. They're all gen, and very show-like, but I love how she gets all that Dean/Cas tension in there and it's hot, and yet it's still very gen. (With a bucket-load of unspoken subtext)
If you feel the need for some kidfic, you could do far worse than, This is not a Test. Dean/Cas established relationship, from the kids' point of view.
Dad shrugs, like killing some demons, whatever, and seriously, both of his parents are ridiculously badass. It's sort of unfortunate that nobody starts "my dad could beat up your dad" anymore, because Max thinks that either of his parents could take on the whole PTA without blinking.
Back a bit:
One year probably wouldn't be enough to shoot up quite that much.
Oh, it's quite possible. My ex grew 6 inches during his 15th year. It put so much stress on his joints they almost put him in a full-body cast.
