Because books.

Anime artwork for Jessica at the bottom of the page.

It really doesn't capture how gorgeous Adrienne Palicki is, but I guess that's not the point.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm very much looking forward to the anime version. For one thing, that particular studio is quite good. For another, Weechesters! And the kind of SFX you can't do in live action!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Supernatural, Glee, and Cougar Town are my must-see shows.

I enjoy watching White Collar, Castle, Drop Dead Diva, The Middle, Warehouse 13, and Blue Mountain State.

I watch Mythbusters and a lot of the Discovery Channel and Food Network shows as background noise, but don't make any real effort to catch something specific.

And then there's Stargate Universe, which is utter crap but I watch out of a mix of masochism and the need for snarking rights about its hamfisted writers on Friday nights when I don't have social obligations.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Eccleston is my one true post-puberty Doctor. He does a happy that breaks my heart.

I weep for your wrongness! Weep!

But, mind, the Doctor of My Heart is the seventh, edging out the fourth by a whisker. Then it's a tossup between Ten and Eleven.

(I think the complete ranking is 7, 4, 10/11, 3, 9, 2, 1, 5, 6. Note the lack of 8, due to Not Watching THAT. However, honestly, I should still probably rank him above 6.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I rank my Doctors 4, 10, 9, 11, 5, 3, 2, 1, 6. I never watched 7 or 8.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

SPN and Vampire Diaries are my only "must see" shows. True Blood would totally be on that list, but I'm not willing to pay for cable JUST to watch True Blood. So I'm on DVD delay for it. Not that I'm EXTRAORDINARILY CRANKY about this, no.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

At the moment, Supernatural and Doctor Who are my only "must see" shows. My "really want to catch up on shows and OMG my DVR is full..." are Burn Notice, Justified, and Fringe.

Laga, the seventh Doctor is amazing. He's the last of the Old Who Doctors, and his last companion, Ace, is my ideal woman.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's hard to remember stuff that's in hiatus, so I may miss some.

SPN
Leverage
Justified
FNL
White Collar
Castle
Burn Notice
Lie to Me
CSI:NY
Warehouse 13
The Mentalist
Eureka

Missing: Flash Forward--Fienes, Cho, Vance, Davenport, Monaghan, Christine Woods, and Callis!

We finished up Torchwood (sob!) last night, and are waiting on Disc 1 of Doctor Who S4, which is ep 1--after that they're all on Instant Watch, up to the two-part finale, which will be disc again.

We're on dvd delay for True Blood. And I need to start with S1 Criminal Minds and catch up. I missed most of S2 Fringe, so I could stand to catch up there, too, and add it back into the "current" roster. I'm looking for a rerun or a stream of Memphis Beat ep.1, to decide if I want to add it on as well.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have heard much praise of Ace. I'm a Sarah Jane girl. Maybe I'll see if 7 is available on Netflix instant streaming.

I just found out Joanne Kelly in on Warehouse 13 so now I need to give that a try.
