We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ooh, does anyone have a link handy for the story where the group of teen girls decide to dabble in the occult and accidentally bring John back from Hell? And wasn't it written by one of the Buffistas?

This is why we call you Files & Records, you know. Thank you!

Because books.

This is why we call you Files & Records, you know.

EXACTLY.

I have to admit when I first realized Wincest existed, I was appalled. But ... there's something about the two of them and their dynamic that makes it work for me (with many exceptions), and I can even buy happiness if it's hard-won.

I guess I could see the same dynamic with River/Simon, but even there ... there's more of a power imbalance, at least in my head. Also, pregnancy risk, which NO.

But I also don't get why people write always-a-girl! Sam or Dean, or anyone. I can see gender-switching as a spell or whatever, but I like Sam and Dean as is when it comes to permanently.

I just totally changed topics without meaning to, but there you go.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I buy it more with River and Simon, but I still don't want to read it. I can see her imprinting completely improperly on him, because she doesn't have any idea what proper is--just wanting him entirely on every level she can have him, and he's really totally helpless in her thrall.

It's just not fun for me. No, fun's not the right word. It's just not entertainment for me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I've only read fic in the Angel and Supernatural fandoms. In Angel there wasn't a sibling or even family really to ship. So Supernatural is where I first encountered the sibling love. I avoided the Sam/Dean stuff initially but my quest for good fic led me there. There are some amazing writers in the Supernatural fandom and many write Sam/Dean.

Almost all the incest fic I wrote was in AtS. Usually, which is to say always, Connor was involved.

Signed, wrote Connor/Darla and Connor/Jasmine.
