re: Jimmy vs. Castiel. I'm probably diametrically opposed to ita's view. I read a fic where Castiel appears to Claire and attempts to comfort her, and it was just so raw and wrong. If Jimmy's in there, I want him free to go back to his life and his family. I think he's earned that.

I feel that Adam definitely got cheated, and his brothers never got the chance to know him, or he them. I'd like to have seen some brotherly bonding, but honestly, I think his story's done. His focus was his mom, and with her is where he needs to be. Maybe he'll find John and make some peace between them.

I think both Misha and JA could sell popsicles to polar bears, but the D/C doesn't make me believe it. And the D/Jimmy would just be a travesty with Jimmy's family still hoping and waiting. I don't know what I want Castiel to do in S6, if Misha returns, other than hang out with Sam a lot--if Sam is hang out with-able. That's a friendship I think was shortchanged, and I'd like to see it developed. Oh, Cas' *job*? IDEK.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just really hope Jimmy's not in there anymore. That's horrible to contemplate. If he's in there, then of course, when Cas goes back to heaven Jimmy should go back to his family. But for Jimmy to have died twice over now and not gotten what he was promised? Very sadmaking.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

The burger cravings left me confused but up until then I'd assumed Jimmy was well and truly dead. I mean come on, Cas exploded and was remade twice.

In my personal canon when reading fics, I operate on the idea that Jimmy is gone gone gone.

Because books.

I handwaved that as muscle memory, kind of. If Jimmy's body remembers to breathe, move, etc., then the food cravings make sense with Famine in town.

Or something.

I'm going to totally handwave it now. Dead Jimmy. Dead, dead, Jimmy. Poor Jimmy.

I seem to have tangentially caused a woman on WX to go to a SPN convention. I hipped her to Misha's twitter feed, which led her to his FB, and now she's off to her first convention with her daughter, and she's thanking me. Which, given that I still can't imagine going to one, is maybe a little bit ironic. But I really hope she enjoys it! She's a big Misha fan, and is signing up for a pic and an autograph.

Should be fun.

Art Crawl!!!

Season 5, Round 3, Bracket #1/1:

Dean: Team Free Will. One ex-blood junkie, one drop out with 6 bucks to his name, and Mr. Comatose over there. Awesome.

Chuck: Three days later another car rolled off that same line. No one gave two craps about her, but they should've. Because this 1967 Chevrolet Impala would turn out to be the most important car... no, the most important object in pretty much the whole universe.

Chuck: So what's it all add up to? Well, it's hard to say. But me, I'd say it was a test. For Sam and Dean. And I think they did alright. Up against good, evil, angels, devils, destiny, and God himself - They made their own choice. They chose family. And well, isn't that kinda the whole point?

Ellen: I said go. And Dean? Kick it in the ass. Don't miss.
