Mal: Well said. Wasn't that well said, Zoe? Zoe: Had a kind poetry to it, sir.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I drank it. (You know, it's a theological hate point for me that assumes tribulations are "tests". I abhor and despise the trials of Job, and *if* this was a "test"? Then screw the universe. And pass the damn bottle. I mean, what or who is the test *for*? Do they get gold stars for passing? Apparently not. Why exactly would anyone want to "pass" any of thse tests? Unless, you know, they remain Galadriel and pass into the west. Allowed to die in peace? That's the result of test-passing? PFEH.)

Bev, this is a recurring trouble area for me as well. When I was young and lost someone close to me, another person said they were mad at God for taking them. This was a complete perspective shift for me because, as I told them, I had known the loved one died, so I was hoping God took them. (Again, I was very young)

Another moment is the "if nothing we do matters, then the only thing that matters is what we do" from Angel. My latest moment to spur that thought/fear/suspicion was during an episode of House. I don't remember the quote but House was saying he needed to not believe in God. He couldn't stand it if he thought this was all a test.

I'm kind of glad SPN is leaving the theological exploration behind. What we got was perfect and painful and fit what was happening. But it was enough. I don't want any more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aillean, please vote for all of bracket #1, or none of it. I'm not going to let it be wonky. I know it hurts, but the pain will make you stronger.

Now you're scarred like the rest of us. Good!

I noticed in the twitter feed from whichever convention that is that JA said something about season 7? I can't deal with the thought right now, as much as I want the boys forever.

Because books.

I saw that, too. My reaction was pretty much, "Buzzuh ...?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am shamefully hungry for more, but hesitant too.

Okay, guys, we have a tie for one of the quote pairs, so more votes please!
