Castiel also.
Aw, no. I don't think so. He's learning, and it's hard out there for an angel.
He's very much Dean in some ways, blindly loyal to a father who is unknowable and a bit overwhelming as your role model. He's sort of S1 Dean in terms of not getting shades of gray yet. But he's also still figuring out how humans think and feel, and I think he's done a better job than a lot of the other angels would.
Aw, no. I don't think so.
But he would feel left out and I wouldn't want that.
Knew I forgot something up there.
Dean needed so much in that episode. He needed the shit beaten out of him, he needed love and trust, and he needed a guilt trip. And oh, man, did he get it all. It was a thing of beauty. Couldn't have made me happier, without, you know, going there.
But he's also still figuring out how humans think and feel, and I think he's done a better job than a lot of the other angels would.
I think what he has is that he gets Winchesters. Some other angels might get
people,
but nobody but Castiel got Dean, and by extension Sam. And they were the key to everything. And the key to the undoing of all the plans of Heaven and Hell is how much love Dean can inspire, in both Sam and Castiel. Those were the wild cards.
The other quote, is helpless!Sam, which isn’t my Sam.
Devoted!Sam! Don't make me get out the pleated skirt.
Does she remind you a lot of Emily Gilmore?
For a while there, totally. Nowadays, she's...she's done a 180°, and she wants me there with her, and I can do nothing but laugh. She's a crazy woman. Love her, but she crazy.
I'm going to have to lobby for angel-face-stabbination too, huh? People, people.
I'm going to have to lobby for angel-face-stabbination too, huh?
Only if you want to lobby for BEING WRONG
And the key to the undoing of all the plans of Heaven and Hell is how much love Dean can inspire, in both Sam and Castiel. Those were the wild cards.
This made me a little heart-clutchy.
Only if you want to lobby for BEING WRONG
BUT THEN HE STABBED AN ANGEL IN THE FACE. How perfect is that?
This made me a little heart-clutchy.
I think I pretty much read the fic to extend this heart-clutchy feeling.
Oooh, them's fighting words, Perkins.
I think it would be interesting to watch S4 and S5 just to trace Cas's growth as a ... sort of person. How he changes, what he decides, what provokes him. He's so clear-minded, focused on his mission as ordered when he arrives to speak to Dean, and boy, does that change.
