I wonder, would all the demons that are left on the earth give up coming after Dean in the wake of the finale? It seemed like there were two widespread mechanisms in play to keep watch out for both Sam and Dean, and while I can imagine Heaven's agents being well-informed enough to drop everything with Michael's disappearance, Hell doesn't strike me as being nearly so organized. Much of their upper level leadership has been wiped out, Lucifer suddenly goes missing, and suddenly scads of extremely vicious and spiteful creatures are left with no new orders coming from below.
Uh-oh. I disagree with ita a lot.
Season 3, Round 2, Bracket #1/2:
Sam: That's hellfire, Dean. (This was a tough one but I like Sam better when he’s angry & not so desperate)
Sam: I lost my shoe. (Another hard choice but puppy!Sam wins.)
Bobby: Family don't end with blood, boy. (I’m still a little mad at John. Sometimes I feel like Bobby was more of a father to them.)
Then we'll find a way to save you. (I prefer hopeful Sam to whiny Sam)
Season 3, Round 2, Bracket #2/2:
Sam Winchester wears makeup. (They’re so cute)
Dean: I'm Batman. (It is the way he says it, and the other is not my favorite Henricksen quote)
Dean: What do you say we kill some evil sons of bitches and raise a little hell? (It’s all in the delivery)
Trickster: You can't save your brother. (Because it’s true)
They might find themselves going after more lucrative or fun things rather than following the orders of a boss who is no longer around.
You know, now that Dean thinks it's all over, I think that the events of the past five years. . . possibly his whole life are going to come crashing down on him. Much like people tend to get sick after finals.
Season 3, Round 2, Bracket #1/2:
Sam: Yeah, because I've been following you around my entire life. I mean, I've been looking up to you since I was four, Dean. Studying you, trying to be just like my big brother. So, yeah, I know you. Better than anyone else in the entire world. And this is exactly how you act when you're terrified. And, I mean, I can't blame you. It's just...
Dean: What?
Sam: It's just, I wish you would drop the show and be my brother again, 'cause... just 'cause. 15:0
Sam: I lost my shoe.13:2
Bobby: Family don't end with blood, boy.15:0 – cruel choice. But Bobby is so right.
Dean: I don't want to die. And I don't want to go to hell.
Sam: Then we'll find a way to save you.
Dean: Okay, good.13:2
Season 3, Round 2, Bracket #2/2:
Sam and Dean: (In unison): Right, you're a mind reader. Cut it out, Sam... Sam! You think you're funny but you're being really, really childish! - Sam Winchester wears makeup. Sam Winchester cries his way through sex. Sam Winchester keeps a ruler by the bed and every morning when he wakes up..... Okay, enough! 15:0
Dean: I'm Batman. 8:7
Dean: What do you say we kill some evil sons of bitches and raise a little hell? 8:7
Trickster: You can't save your brother. No good comes out of it--just pain, and blood. 11:4
Matt, that's another reason for him to get the hell out of Dodge. But now it's going to look like I'm a Lisa hater, and I'm not. I just think Lisa/Dean is problematic and I don't trust Show to resolve it tidily.
Tidy is not in their repertoire.
Fair enough.
Properly.
I think they've handled stuff properly, like, say, John. Incredibly messily, but fascinatingly.
In fact, Lisa/Dean needs to be messy. Not tidy. Tidy would be the problem.
Good god. September? Seriously? How am I not going to be the hugest spoiler whore?
