Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Yeah, whatever that guy said.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, guys. My neck and shoulder are particularly killing me right now, but there's no point going to the ER so soon before the neurotomy. Plus the battery replacement (thankfully that's all it was) costs more than an ER visit. So I'm going to suck it up as long as possible.

Also, what Pete said.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

What Pete adorabled, especially the well-wishes for ita.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

End of thread.....WOOT.

Noah scared the crap out of me as he had the retracted-straightedge in his mouth. Luckily he hadn't figured out how to unretract it.

But he magically figured out how to open the locked box it was in.

“Not dead yet!”

And it only took about ten posts for the A-word to creep into the conversation.

First damn a-word of the new year.

I suppose you should be congratulated.

But not.

I'm glad it was just a battery, sorry for the hassle. I hope the procedure works too (uh, not the battery installation part.)

Elizabeth, Jonathan and Nathan were in my parents' lists, but Sara was the only girlname contender for me.

The husband of a friend has a name (not this exact one) like Shelby Williamson V. He goes by Will in all but the formalist of paperwork. Except his sports buddies who call him Vicki. Which has something to do with Pooh, but I've never figured it out. Anyway, he confuses the hell out of new employers.

I can be counted on for the important things.

Oh! And I'm trying to convince my soon-to-be housemates of the importance of getting an X-Box. I want to shoot some zombies, dammit!

ita, Battery replacement is at least not as bad, I'd assume, as starter replacement. Sorry that you needed it at all (and happy delayed birthday wishes!)

Taking mom out for her bday dinner tonight. Fun?
