Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ron Howard and his 50(!) years in show business

Fifty years? Wow!

I just recently saw Avalon on tv and was startled to see the year on the movie description--1990! And that's 19 years ago! If you think about it, Elijah Wood has been in Hollywood for twenty years now, which is almost as scary to think about as Ron Howard's fifty.

“Not dead yet!”

I was blown away by seeing that VH-1 had the special Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant and I was like, "Noooooo... Chachi can't be forty-six. That's unpossible!"

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It saddens me that Twilight may ruin a perfectly good obscure family name. SADDENS.

I'm dismayed on your behalf. I didn't read Twilight, so I didn't know that until today. Esme remains untainted by sparkly vampires in my world if it's any tiny consolation.

I knew twins in grade school who shared the middle name Aloysious. John and James. I can't believe I remember that. Well, I mean, we hung out through high school, so. One was good and one was evil (but got less so as he grew up).

“Not dead yet!”

Has the imminent downfall begun? Anyone else having trouble with LJ?

Because books.

::raises hand::

And please don't say that. I haven't done that backup thing yet, and it intimidates me.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Anyone else having trouble with LJ?

Big time. But I doubt that LJ is going poof; it gets wonky from time to time.
