Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I meant to say -- she's the only Buffy I've ever met.

There's only one in all the world at any one time.

She was very pleased when BTVS existed (though she didn't watch it), because that meant she could wear clothing with her name on it.

I sorta dig Ambrose.

It's such a Victorian name, isn't it? Grandpa was born in 1901, and other than him, I always associate it with Ambrose Bierce.

information libertarian

I have noticed a lot of two-named girls since we moved to GA: Anna Grace, Katie Grace, Anna Frances, and there's one other at Casper's school that I am forgetting.

I like the name Evelyn, but it is SHOOTING up the popularity charts - from ca. 130 when we named Casper to 55 last year; I imagine it will be higher this year.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy Birthday, MM!!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Javachik has a cousin who goes by Buffy online. No idea if that's her name IRL though.

Are things really going to be this bad? Safety Law Will Effectively Ban Handmade Toys, Children Clothes

Yes, possibly. It's similar to the various proposed taxes on internet radio that would put Pandora and Rhapsody out of business.

Oh, yeah, I got distracted by all the name talk.

Happy Birthday, MM!

I missed #15 on the logic test, too.

That kid w/ the cooking show is beyond adorable, amych. So many things cracked me up. Like, not only does he identify the ingredients, but... the bowls, the spoon, some cups. Too funny.

Really? I'll have to tell my godmother that, she'll love that her name is coming back.

Godfather's name is another unusual one--LaVern (yes, I said "godfather"). He doesn't use it other than for official documents; his everyday name is Vern.

Oh, and most definitely a happy birthday to the Miracleman!
