Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I love this one, where 2 kids cook recipes from the Alinea cookbook (to prove it's not beyond the skills of a home cook).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm thinking of Avery (girl), which I used to really love and is now on the list.

Once those laser printer labels became popular, office people started going, "Avery. That would make a nice girls name."

Just hoping to avoid several of them in a class, you know?

Oh, totally - I can't think of a single social situation in my life where I've been the only Jessica in the group. (But I still love my name.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm thinking of Avery (girl), which I used to really love and is now on the list. How does that happen exactly?

Blame Murphy Brown.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'll always think of Avery as a boy's name because of Charlotte's Web.

Librarian Warlord

How does that happen exactly?

It seems like it's just follows fashion trends when a sound catches on. Here's an old article pondering the same question:

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'd really like to throw myself down on the floor and have a full blown temper tantrum.
