That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm watching House Hunters International.

I want a Remote Tropical Estate with handcarved native woodwork.

And a freakin' Master Suite the size of my current HOUSE.

And a pony.

(And of course, in 2009, I plan to drop more $$ in one chunk than ever, but that is house. I hope. Mortgage market not denying.)

Well, it's too early to put '09 on The List.

We need to give it a chance. Much peace and ~ma and easier times for all would be nice.

2009 has much to recommend it. Starting Jan 20, and personally, July in Bhutan and Nepal and hopefully HOUSE beforehand.

And, of course, losing my mind over everything post-Jan.

Oh and a crown of three needed first of the year. OK, not a recommendation.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

So I sent the link aurelia posted yesterday with the guitar playing kid to a bunch of people.

My dad countered with these two:

Apparently if you're looking for some kids that can crank out the classic rock, Asia is the place to go.

(the good news is that I filled my vicodin prescription, so if ever something goes horribly wrong...seriously, I will ask the dentist for a refill before I go abroad. Never want a repeat of this summer, especially not abroad. I'd rather visit it stoned.)

Punishingly Intricate

I'm watching House Hunters International

I'm so obsessed with that show right now! Fascinating seeing places real people live in other countries. (People w/ money to buy but still.)

I love seeing all the different places-- I think I've decided where I really would want to live is Malagá, Spain. It's SO beautiful. And bonus! I know the language!

ION, my poor husband. He left for work at 8 this morning and doesn't expect to be home until after 2AM. One of employees went home sick yesterday and they couldn't find anyone to take the shift, so Lewis went in, even though he wasn't supposed to be in until two, because he was going to work through to their midnight product launch tonight.

A very long day for him, but at least he's found a way to take tomorrow off instead of going back in and opening, the way he was originally scheduled to do.

Oh, god. I have to be up in four hours, and I can't fall asleep. I lay there for two hours - no sleep. Do not want.

I will go try again.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

want to live is Malagá, Spain.

Good choice. It would be a toss up of Malaga or Granada for me. Although, Cadiz is really beautiful too. Or even Jerez. Hell, I'd live just about anywhere in Spain.
