Holy ass. I mean, maybe the one in Brooklyn would be better?
It's the Union Sq one that's on my way home, is the thing. And IME, the Brooklyn TJs has even *longer* lines than the Union Sq one because there's so much more space inside, the line never goes out the door making people give up on the idea altogether.
I just got these shoes

In dark red patent! Hot as shit. To go with the gold & silver wiggle dress I'm wearing to my friend's wedding tomorrow. I was sooo not excited to be doing One More Thing after the holiday stuff but now I'm ready to be all shiny and fancy!
but still, between chin and shoulders which is a good look for me.
That is a good length for you.
If it hadn't taken me a half-hour plus to get there, I definitely would have given up on TJ's today. Ah well.
I have two delicious pots of soup on the stove, and definitely not enough tupperware. Oops. I'll get more tomorrow.
Hot as shit.
Seriously!
Out of my to-do list from earlier today, I have:
- swept floors;
- vaccumed bedroom;
- washed stinky dog bed covers (and bathroom and kitchen throw rugs) and put dog beds outside to air out;
- taken a walk;
- taken out the recycling;
- cleaned bathroom (but NOT mopped the floor).
Oh, my god. That bathroom (which I just finished -- woo, 9:45 on a Friday night) was like a frat house bathroom. Or probably worse, because the frats make the pledges clean the bathrooms. It was like a prison bathroom.
Every time it gets that bad because we go too long without cleaning it, I vow to NEVER wait that long again. And then I end up right back where I am, proclaiming that it was like a prison bathroom.
I am going to boil myself in the shower and then drink a beer. Or two.
Love those shoes, lisah! I wish I had a reason to be hot. Instead, I'm wearing my inside pants and a sweatshirt.
oookay, so tonight, the neighbors behaved badly and now Loki, not Devi, LOKI, is stalking the stove. I tried to pull him away and he whined. =MICE.
So must move.
Seriously, besides the mice thing, this is the worst I've seen my hood.
What happened sara?
We went and had dim sum. The place we went to is really good and known, deservedly, for being good. It opens at 5:00. We pulled into the lot at 5:01 and we were seated as the last group of 4 with that group of seating. Seriously.
Noah is a little ball-obsessed. [link] You can hear him.
ba ba ba ba
mac has decided that he can try to start going to bed with out me sitting there until he is asleep. HUGE. of course it did not work on the first attempt, but it only delayed sleep like 45 min and there were no tears, so in our world - a win.
